Ordered a grilled cheese with tomato ....possibly the worst attempt that any person could make at creating such a simple snack!!! The cook literally put the bread in a toaster and added raw tomato and less cheese than you'd find in a mouse trap! Terrible! If you can't cook the easy stuff I shudder to think how you'd do at a full dinner. The place was empty too...really bad sign of a restaurant. I won't be back..ever. The staff member was really friendly and helpful though.
The restaurant is very nice, with a historical vibe. The service was friendly and quick. However, the food was underwhelming, it didn't match the rest of the experience.
I had the pulled pork and fries and found it was quite good. Service was great and waitress was very attentive and friendly. My wife had the club with corn chowder. She is a cook by trade and went on and on about how fresh the club was, one of the best she has had. I am glad we stopped by and would return.
1st time to the Sttathmore Station! My burger and yam fries were amazing! Our friend had the pulled pork bun which also was amazing! Will be back! Cant forget to mention that the actual restaurant and decor was great.
Great atmosphere! Not your average restaurant at all, this place is warm and friendly and the interior is just such a nice tribute to the old trains, its neat to read all the history. The restuarant and bar downstairs are both very big and spacious with lots of tables and seating. The food and service is fantastic!! And the bathrooms are always clean... total bonus points for that!
