We arrived after 8 p.m. and departed early the next morning. Our room was clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The staff were polite and helpful. Please note there is no elevator and unfortunately we had lots of luggage but otherwise it was a great stay for us. The front desk did offer us one of the available handicap rooms as she had a few of those available. We thanked her but decided to keep the room we booked.
Hotel is updated sand current. Rooms are modern and clean .Water pressure is good and lots of hot water. Staff are pleasant to deal with .Continental breakfast has a decent variety and good quality .Would recommend staying here if passing through Strathmore or want to avoid the prices in Calgary .
Nice bed but nothing else. Very outdated and no elevator with no offered help to carry up bags. Staff has high expectations of customers (remove dirty shoes at entrance, only one ice machine) This type of layout I'd expect at a Travelodge or worse.... Not recommended best to stay in Chestermere best west near same price and almost new building.RESPONSE- one floor up carrying 2 large bags is still challenging without help from the staff. What if I were an elderly person? Would I be required to drag my bags up 2 flights of stairs with the possibility of hurting myself? I understand you want to keep a clean hotel but can you expect guest to take there shoes off every time they enter when its wet outside? And to have to make three trips to there room (one bag at a time and shoes?) Ive stayed at over 150 hotels across Canada and is nearly the most difficult and irritating stay. AVOID
Room was excellent. Bed was excellent. Continental breakfast was better than I had expected. Service was fast and friendly.
Cheap 'n cheerful.Was surprised at the quality of the interior, far better than the outside would suggest. Rooms were basic but clean, comfortable and spacious. Overall the place feels dated but well cared for.One security issue: the basement door lock has been broken for 2 years according to staff, and was often propped open so anyone can get in.So long as you get a main floor room, should be wheelchair accessible.
