One of the few places that carries a larger size of hot salsa instead of just mild or medium. They always seem to have other items that I can get at an awesome low price
As a single parent on a single income this is the most cost effective place to grocery shop in Strathmore. Meat is decent quality, fresh food is good. Only downside is watch the dates on "reduced" items as I've purchased spoiled products before not looking.
Great selection but keep your eyes on exp dates on cheese and other dairy products
Produce from Canada in the spring and summer are at good prices. Lots of discount food but the No frills shows in no clean feeling. Staff hurry you through because they have to. Bags cost so bring your own although boxes are available. I recommend this Strathmore store for extra essentials, baking supplies, and produce from Canada. The store needs to be cleaner especially the produce section. Don't buy dairy here as the selection is minimal.
The store is generally dim inside and you have to be very careful when choosing produce. They have a great selection of snacks and very competitive prices for things like cheese and bacon. I always notice a weird sewer type smell near the cash registers. It's kind of off putting.
